Delivery policy

How services are delivered

We supply services rather than physical goods. This policy sets out how and when each service line is performed, what you receive, and what happens where delivery is delayed or prevented.

01

Nature of what we supply

Services and digital content, not physical goods.

No physical shipment. We do not dispatch physical goods and there are no shipping charges. Where a certificate or document is issued, it is issued electronically. Physical issue is available only by prior arrangement and at cost.

Our services are supplied either as digital content — module material, protocol documentation, generated deliverables, reports — or as performed services, whether delivered online or in person. Delivery accordingly means the provision of access, the performance of the service, or the issue of a deliverable, as the case may be.

02

Delivery by service line

When performance occurs for each line.
ProjectsAccess is provided on confirmation of order. Deliverables are released against the agreed stages of the engagement, on completion of each stage.
InternshipsAccess and joining arrangements are provided on confirmation. Performance runs across the duration selected at purchase, with supervision and milestones as stated for the focused area.
TrainingOnline modules are made available on confirmation of order. Offline modules are performed on the dates arranged with you. Protocol content is released in the sequence stated for the module.
WorkshopsPerformance occurs on the announced date. Joining instructions, prerequisites and any required materials are issued in advance of that date.
PhD assistanceAccess to frontier material is provided on confirmation. Individual services and bundles are performed to the schedule agreed for the engagement.
Research servicesPerformed to the scope and timetable established at the point of order or, where scope was agreed by enquiry, in the written scope document.
03

Timing

Standard periods, and the effect of consent to immediate supply.

Where a service consists of digital content available immediately, access is provided on confirmation of order, ordinarily within one hour and in any event within one working day.

Where a service is performed to a schedule, performance begins on the date agreed or announced. Where no date is specified, performance begins within a reasonable time and in any event within 30 days of the contract being formed, unless a longer period is agreed.

Where you are a consumer and you have consented to supply beginning within the cancellation period, supply begins immediately and the consequences for your right to cancel are as set out in the cancellation policy. Where you have not given that consent, supply begins after the cancellation period has expired.

04

Access and technical requirements

What you need in order to receive the service.

Online delivery requires a device with a current browser and a stable internet connection. Certain sessions require a working microphone and, where participation is expected, a camera. Specific technical requirements, where they exist for a service, are stated on the page for that service and in the joining instructions.

Access to purchased material is through your account. Credentials are personal to you and may not be shared; use of the platform is subject to the acceptable use policy.

In-person delivery takes place at the venue notified to you. Travel to and from the venue, and any accommodation, are your responsibility and are not included in the price unless expressly stated.

05

Delay, failure and rescheduling

Where performance does not occur as planned.

Delay attributable to us

Where delivery is delayed by reason attributable to us, we will notify you and give a revised date. Where the delay is material, you may terminate and receive a refund of sums paid for services not performed.

Rescheduling by us

Where a scheduled session cannot proceed, we will offer transfer to the next announced date at no additional charge, or a refund of the sum paid for that session.

Non-attendance and delay attributable to you

Where you do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the service is treated as delivered and no refund is due. Where performance is delayed or prevented by your failure to provide information, meet a prerequisite or respond to a request, we are not liable for the delay and may charge reasonable additional costs incurred.

Events beyond reasonable control

Where performance is delayed or prevented by an event beyond our reasonable control, performance is suspended for the duration of the event. Where it continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate and sums paid for services not performed are refunded.

06

Certification

Issue and verification of completion records.

Where a service carries certification, the certificate is issued electronically on completion of the requirements stated for that service, following verification through the central certification process.

Certification records are retained so that a certificate may be verified on request at any future date. Physical issue of a certificate is available by prior arrangement, at the cost of production and postage.
